FISP Responds to the UK’s Digital Communications Information Strategy

By | October 2, 2014

FISP has today published its formal response to the UK government’s consultation document seeking views on the need to adopt a fresh approach to digital infrastructure investment.

FISP takes the view that the most ambitious scenario envisaged in the consultation may well fall short of real needs from across all sectors of the UK economy.

With respect to demand, the Government should recognise that forecasts of demand that seek to depress expectation to levels commensurate with the current pace of investment should be seen for what they are.  The focus should be much more ambitious.”
